These microscopes have been put together with farmers and agronomists in mind. With a 60x objective and optional 16x eyepieces, we can get almost 1000x magnification without the need for oil immersion.
If you have ever been through mucking around, mess and equipment damage that can be caused by oil immersion, then you will appreciate this option.
